Three days of activities and shows for the whole family, presentations in French but very visual!
In conjunction with the Royal Treasures exhibition taking place in the Royal Lodgings from 24 May to 2 November 2025, the event takes visitors back to the court of a 15th-century prince.
With the presence of companies :
CowProd and its chivalry tournament ‘l'ordalie des Seigneurs’!
Two of the most valiant knights will compete for skill, strength and bravery as they face off against each other in a variety of chivalry events (quintaine, béours, axe-planting, annelles, etc.).
Genz d'Armes 1415, Les Fleurs d'Argent and their gleaming armour
Two companies specialising in 15th-century historical re-enactments are pitching their tents opposite the royal lodgings. The valets, men-at-arms and their lord will take you back to a princely encampment at the end of the Middle Ages. With entertainment for children, demonstrations of armoured combat and foot jousting, there's guaranteed to be entertainment all day long!
L'Arbre de Sovenance and its lively sounds
Three musicians and two circus performers come to the Fortress to set the mood at the Prince's court! The music of the 15th century is invited to the party.
La Muse and her playful crafts.
The king's butler invites you to his lord's medieval table, while the merchant awaits you in his stall, overflowing with a thousand treasures.
Les Simples Médecines and their 15th-century apothecary shop
After a chat with Dame Marguerite and her assistant Dame Soline, you'll know all about the hygiene and beauty standards of the Middle Ages. But perhaps the story of perfume is the one that will fill you with the most wonder...
Gueule de Loups company and its show ‘le tournoi des loupiots’
The King and Queen, accompanied by their jester, are parading around and the whole street is cheering them heartily. They want to have fun: it's their wedding anniversary. They select the best parents in the kingdom... The children, young knights, compete against each other on the backs of their father horses!
The quintaine twirls, spears give way to swords and the good people applaud the new heroes.
