The year 2025 at the Royal fortress of Chinon is all about Treasures!
During the holidays, children will be taking part in a ‘paperolle’ workshop, where they will be making decorations reproducing precious objects, using narrow strips of paper. This technique was already known during the Renaissance to imitate the gold and silver filigree used by goldsmiths.
Once they have produced their treasure, the King allows our young designers to take it home.
Practical information
During the holidays from 10 to 23 February, every day; Wednesdays 26 February and 5 March / 11am.
Public: children aged 7 and over
An adult must be present for one or more children.
Duration: 1 hour
Allow an extra 1h30 for the visit to the Fortress.
