Open every day all year long except 01/01 and 25/12

  • January - February and November - December : 10am-5pm
  • March to June and September - October: 9:30am-6pm
  • May - August: 9:30am-7pm
  • Ticket office / shop closes 30 min before the site close.

Red alert for heatwave in Indre-et-Loire, the Royal Fortress of Chinon welcomes you with measures in place to cope with the hot weather.  
Opening hours are 8.30 am – 6 pm. 
Some areas are temporarily closed from 1 pm and activities are either modified or suspended. 
For your comfort, we recommend that you visit in the morning. 
The half-price rate applies all day.
